To all coffee drinkers, I would like to wish Happy National Coffee Day! Of course, coffee lovers would argue that every day is Coffee Day. For non-drinkers, why don’t you give it a try?

I love my coffee, but I was never really aware of caffeine overdose until I read a news story about it yesterday. There’s a limit to how much caffeine you can consume. For one teenager in Northern Ireland, the limit was seven double espressos. 17 year old Jasmine Willis thought that the espressos were single shots, but even 5 espressos seem high to me.

Azmeraw Zeleke of northern Ethiopia uses old mortar shells, which stand about one metre high, to make his coffee machines.
