I would like to wish all American visitors of Coffee Nova a Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy a delicious cup of fresh coffee after all that turkey.

In Malaysia, coffee is enjoyed in many ways - black, white, frothy (”tarik”). A typical afternoon snack is a cup of good local coffee accompanied by roti bakar - thick slices of toast, slathered with butter and home-made kaya (coconut jam). The coffee is usually taken black, with sugar.

This is a brand new site on a favourite topic of mine : coffee. This drink has spread all over the world and can now be found in any number of variations. I hope to be able to share news, reviews, recipes, photos, preparation tools, tips, and more.

At Coffee Nova, we’re not coffee snobs - anything from instant coffee to the finest espresso will be covered. Any feedback and suggestions would be most welcome!
